FINE ART

I come from a very artistic family. My mother's an interior designer, craftswoman and decorator, she paints, fashions clothing, and up-cycles furniture. My grandmother was a ceramist, a doll maker, a fine artist and quilter, while my grandfather made a living as a professional chalk & oil pastel artist.

I grew up with art making materials and craft tools all around me; paints, brushes, canvas, kilns, clay, a wood shop and plenty of encouragement. As a child, I was always making art, drawing, painting, doing graffiti, building bikes, designing graphics, or just doing whatever got my creative juices flowing.

After graduating from the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University in the mid 1990's, I opened "JANUS", my first independent gallery / event space and was completely  hooked!

Whether as a creator, curator or consultant, I've always enjoyed being a central part of the creative process and feel that my career reflects that of an artist on a journey into ground-breaking territory.

Enjoy examples of over twenty-five years of work:
